Strong convergence of modified noor iteration in CAT(0) spaces
We prove a strong convergence theorem for the modified Noor iterations in the framework of CAT(0) spaces. Our results extend and improve the corresponding results of X. Qin, Y. Su and M. Shang, T. H. Kim and H. K. Xu and S. Saejung and some others.
متن کاملVariational iteration method: New development and applications
Variational iteration method has been favourably applied to various kinds of nonlinear problems. The main property of the method is in its flexibility and ability to solve nonlinear equations accurately and conveniently. In this paper recent trends and developments in the use of the method are reviewed. Major applications to nonlinear wave equation, nonlinear fractional differential equations, ...
متن کاملSolving time-fractional chemical engineering equations by modified variational iteration method as fixed point iteration method
The variational iteration method(VIM) was extended to find approximate solutions of fractional chemical engineering equations. The Lagrange multipliers of the VIM were not identified explicitly. In this paper we improve the VIM by using concept of fixed point iteration method. Then this method was implemented for solving system of the time fractional chemical engineering equations. The ob...
متن کاملApplications of the Variational Iteration Method to Fractional Diffusion Equations: Local versus Nonlocal Ones
The diffusion equations with the local and the nonlocal fractional derivatives have been used to describe the flow through disorder media. Recently, the variational iteration method is successfully developed to find approximate solutions of the two kinds of fractional differential equations. This study reveals the new development of the method and compares the applications in two types of fract...
متن کاملConvergence of the multistage variational iteration method for solving a general system of ordinary differential equations
In this paper, the multistage variational iteration method is implemented to solve a general form of the system of first-order differential equations. The convergence of the proposed method is given. To illustrate the proposed method, it is applied to a model for HIV infection of CD4+ T cells and the numerical results are compared with those of a recently proposed method.
